DC Universe has released character videos for Robin (Brenton Thwaites), Beast Boy (Ryan Potter), Starfire (Anna Diop), and Raven (Teagan Croft), and we’re happy to see that if the early episodes are a bit on the overly dark side, there seems to be some levity to come. The Beast Boy video, in particular, is a lot of fun.
Titans is coming our way October 12, exclusively on the DC Universe subscription service.
Some official preview images have been released to promote the first two episodes of Titans on DC Universe!
Titans premieres Friday, October 12 and the new photos — from episodes titled “Titans” and “Hawk and Dove” — feature several key figures, including Robin/Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites), Raven/Rachel Roth (Teagan Croft), Starfire/Koriand’r (Anna Diop). Hawk/Hank Hall (Alan Ritchson), and Dove/Dawn Grainger (Minka Kelly!)
There’s some superhero action within as well as some quiet moments.
Titans is part of the DC Universe subscription service that has a whole lot of original material. You can subscribe to DC Universe at DCUniverse.com. (TitansTV is not affiliated with DC Universe)
The new cast gallery photos feature Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, and Anna Diop as Starfire. The photos were seen during the stream but here they are without tags! Enjoy!

And the official victor for most clickbait-y of clickbait headlines goes to… that one up above.
Even if it’s only true on a technicality.
Comic Con News has uncovered evidence that points to the notion that Twin Peaks’ Sherilyn Fenn has signed on for an undisclosed role in the upcoming Titans show for the DC Comics streaming service. The site noted that Fenn had retweeted the first photo of Brenton Thwaites as Robin; more telling is that the actress, who was recently filming in Toronto, tweeted a photo of herself that appears to be with Teagan Croft (Raven) on Wednesday. There was also another photo of the two on Instagram.
Perhaps she is playing Raven’s mom? And is Raven’s mother a nurse, as Fenn has posted some pictures in scrubs recently?
(Also, sadly, if that is Croft, she still has blonde hair – we really hoped they’d darken it for the show.)
So what does this have to do with Harley Quinn?
Fenn played Dr. Harleen Quinzel in the pilot episode of the WB’s Birds of Prey, becoming more and more manic like the “Harley” we all know and love as the pilot went on. Sadly, Fenn didn’t stay with the project as it went to series, so she was replaced by Mia Sara.
So… no, Harley Quinn is not going to be on Titans… yet… but at least an actress that played her seems to be coming on.
No confirmation has come yet from the studio, but if this pans out, it’s very exciting news indeed!
Deadline has announced Teagan Croft as the first actor to be cast for the upcoming Titans series for the DC Comics streaming service. And she will be playing… Raven?!?!
Yes, even though she looks like she could be a dead ringer for Terra, Australian newcomer Teagan Croft has been cast in the role of Raven for the series. Raven in this project is described as “the daughter of a demon, is a powerful empath who must keep her emotions in check or risk unleashing her demonic side.”
Like all good Australian actors, Croft’s past credits include Home and Away.
Interesting trivia: Raven herself was once developed as a series for The CW which never happened.
