The DC Universe made some big announcements yesterday, many of which you can find on our general TV news site, KSiteTV, but even more than that… they released some new photos of Brenton Thwaites as Robin in Titans, including a full body shot!
Thwaites himself posted a photo on Instagram which you can find in the gallery below. In the photo, he mentioned “that’s a wrap on Titans” for Season 1… if that is a photo from the end of the season, does that imply Dick Grayson is Robin for the entire year?
Also announced is that Titans is due to come our way later this year! Doom Patrol and Swamp Thing will be headed our way in 2019.
Our apologies for not posting about this on TitansTV yesterday; there were some personal issues that kept webmaster Craig away from the computer for most of the afternoon. As always, though, the first place you can look for Titans information is our @TitansTV Twitter account.

Unconfirmed reports say the title of the seventh episode of the live-action Titans for the DC streaming service may have a familiar name… “Jason Todd.”
For those who know DC Comics lore, Jason Todd was the second Robin who replaced Dick Grayson in the role. The character was killed off in 1988 as part of a fan call-in; eventually, he resurfaced as the Red Hood.
In any vent, if this title is true, this could be very cool news for fans of the DC Universe…
The title is one of several purported titles for the first seven episodes, which might imply episode-by-episode introductions of each Titan on a slow basis. Here are those titles (subject to change, of course):
#1.1 “Titans” (Pilot)
#1.2 “Hawk and Dove”
#1.5 “The Doom Patrol”
#1.6 “The Messenger”
#1.7 “Jason Todd”
We are assuming “The Messenger” is not a reference to Anna Diop’s old TV show. 😉
UPDATE: It appears that Jason Todd may be played by actor named Curran Walters!
Thanks to Andy for the tip!
Hot on the heels of the first reveal of the Robin costume earlier this week, actor Brenton Thwaites who is playing Robin a.k.a. Dick Grayson in the upcoming live-action Titans series shared another photo of him wearing the famous outfit on Instagram.
Titans is due in 2018 on the upcoming DC Comics streaming service.
“Here we go!!!
First fight scene with my R
Kicking ass in a downtown Gotham alleyway,” read Thwaites’ Instagram post.
Of course, the costume is pretty well covered underneath a coat, but it’s still nice to see more of the costume. (Fluffy top part clearly not part of the costume.) It’s also interesting to note that Thwaites mentioned “downtown Gotham” which we are assuming is a location in the first episode.
Will we see Robin only in flashbacks? Is he going to be Nightwing? So many questions still left to be answered as Titans filming goes on up in Toronto.
Hopefully we’ll have some more cast photos in the future.
Warner Bros. has released their first official photo of Brenton Thwaites in costume as Dick Grayson (Robin) from their upcoming DC Comics-based series Titans which is coming from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
The Robin super suit was designed by renowned costume designer Laura Jean Shannon, whose credits include Black Lightning, Iron Man and The Jungle Book, among others.
Titans is set to debut in 2018 on the DC-branded direct-to-consumer digital service, operated by Warner Bros. Digital Networks.
