10 years of Smallville and they never get Bruce Wayne. The Arrowverse can’t seem to get Bruce Wayne. Birds of Prey didn’t get Bruce Wayne.
But Titans? They, apparently, get Bruce Wayne.
Deadline (a site that never links to us, so we won’t link to them) is reporting that Game of Thrones actor Iain Glen will be playing an older version of Bruce Wayne in Titans Season 2.
He does kind of have an Adam West look to him, doesn’t he?
Here’s the logline for the character:
After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.
Titans Season 2 premieres later this year on DC Universe.
In news that was first reported by Revenge of the Fans earlier this week (and not Deadline, who as per usual failed to acknowledge the original source), Chelsea T. Zhang has been cast in the role of Rose Wilson a.k.a. Ravager on DC Universe’s Titans.
Here’s the official description for the character; Titans Season 2 will likely be here later this year on DC Universe.
Daughter of the deadly assassin, Deathstroke, Rose Wilson was forced to undergo the same procedure that granted her father nearly superhuman abilities, becoming a weapon known as Ravager. Ever resentful, she seeks out the Titans not only for their protection but to get back at her father. Knowing how dangerous it is to be the offspring of their deadliest foe, the Titans take her in but that doesn’t necessarily mean they trust her.
We learned that Esai Morales would be playing Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke in Titans Season 2… now, we know who is playing his son Joseph Wilson a.k.a. Jericho!
Model, student, and YouTube personality Chella Man — who documented his journey of being “deaf, Genderqueer, Chinese and Jewish” on the video sharing website and has over 2.5 million views to his name — has landed the role.
Deadline broke the news — no, they don’t get a link because they don’t extend us the same luxury when we break anything. Here’s the official character description:
Son of the infamous DC villain Deathstroke (played by Esai Morales), Joseph Wilson is the Titan known as Jericho. Mute after his father failed to rescue him from having his vocal cords severed by assassins, Jericho has the unique ability to possess anyone just by making eye contact. This gentle natured yet proud hero has proven himself a formidable Titan.
Even though Arrow had what may be the definitive live-action Deathstroke in Manu Bennett, and there was a lot of promise in Joe Manganiello’s take on the character, Titans is going with a new actor in the role for Season 2.
Deadline revealed today that Esai Morales is the latest actor to wear the orange and black suit.
Here’s the official logline for the character:
Slade Wilson is known for being DC’s deadliest assassin. While serving his country, Slade became an elite soldier before government testing enhanced his physiology to near superhuman levels, putting him on a path of darkness and revenge. To his family, Slade is a father and husband, but to the rest of the world, he is feared by many as the infamous Deathstroke; selling his services to the highest bidder as the ruthless assassin that never gives up and never misses.
