Titans: Season 1 Titles Updated

Titans is headed our way October 12 exclusively on DC Universe, and while we had revealed several episode titles here at TitansTV, it appears a small number of them were incorrect. (For starters, we assumed Season 1 would consist of 13 episodes rather than 12).

Here’s the updated list with the changed/updated titles posted in bold type. Obviously the titles themselves are spoilers for some characters we may see in Season 1.

#1.1 “Titans” (Pilot)
#1.2 “Hawk and Dove”
#1.3 “Origins”
#1.4 “Doom Patrol”
#1.5 “Together”

#1.6 “Jason Todd”

#1.7 “The Asylum”

#1.8 “Donna Troy”
#1.9 “Hank and Dawn”
#1.10 “Koriand’r”
#1.11 “Dick Grayson”
#1.12 (Season Finale) “Raven”

Titans Episode Titles Confirm “Donna Troy”

Titles for the 8th and 9th episodes of the live-action Titans TV series have surfaced, and one of those two confirms the reports from last week that “Wonder Girl” Donna Troy is coming to the show.

Episode 8 is called “Angela,” and the only Angela we can think of in the world of the Teen Titans is Raven’s mother, Angela Roth, who we believe is being played by Twin Peaks’ Sherilyn Fenn.

Titans Episode 9 is a big one. “Donna Troy.” Conor Leslie appears in this episode. Fans of DC Comics and Teen Titans lore know Donna is one of the most major characters in this story, and we can’t wait to see her.

You can find compiled Titans spoilers at our TitansTV Spoilers Page; yes, we know it’s due for an update.

Titans is coming to the DC Comics streaming service when it launches, hopefully later this year.

Our thanks to Andy for the tip.

Is Conor Leslie Playing Donna Troy On Titans?

No confirmation from the studio, but it seems that actress Conor Leslie (The Man In The High Castle, Shots Fired) has landed a role in DC’s Titans for their upcoming DC-branded streaming service… and fans are speculating that she might be Donna Troy a.k.a. Wonder Girl.

One clue of a DC involvement is that Leslie recently followed DC’s Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns on Twitter, as many actors do when they join the DC Universe.

But also, it appears that Leslie is the mystery actress in a scene recently shot in Toronto that was caught by Instagram user “madgrahambino.” In the scene they were able to catch, which also features Brenton Thwaites, the character says “oh, I’ve missed you Boy Wonder,” implying a past between this character and Dick. Donna Troy definitely has a history with Dick Grayson.

You can see that video below.

We’ll let you know when or if DC confirms Conor Leslie’s casting. And beyond that… wouldn’t a Donna Troy streaming show be fun? Just saying….

Titans TV Fantasy Casting: Who Else Could Show Up?

Titans is now filming in Toronto, Canada, and that surely means that we’re going to be getting more casting announcements in the coming months. It’s also a sure fact that the world of the Titans is huge and that there are many roles that will surely be filled.

While our last turn at playing armchair casting directors was all wrong (and hey – it’s fine, because David Rapaport & co. have found some amazing Titans!) – we’re going to give this another go for some characters that haven’t been announced yet.

Keep in mind that none of this fantasy casting is official, though if any of these pan out, we’d more than welcome it. Additionally, it is not guaranteed that any of these characters will actually surface on the Titans live-action series that is coming to DC’s upcoming streaming service.

We’re limiting to only a few per page so be sure to navigate through the pages properly. You can start by navigating below. Enjoy!

Donna Troy (Wonder Girl) May Be Coming To Titans

DC’s upcoming Titans series for their still unnamed streaming service may be getting a Wonder-ful addition.

That Hashtag Show has gotten a hold of yet another casting breakdown, and this one is for a character that… sounds very much like a certain Titans mainstay — specifically, Donna Troy, a.k.a. Wonder Girl.

Here’s the breakdown:

[RUTH GIBBS] Female, 20s, Caucasian or Latina or Middle Eastern, or ethnically ambiguous. Confident and kick ass. Educated. RECURRING GUEST STAR THIS SEASON WITH AN OPTION FOR SERIES REGULAR NEXT SEASON.

“Ruth Gibbs” is clearly an alias, as many other casting notices for this series have had. The notion that there’s an option to become a series regular tells us that this is an important figure in Titans lore — and there are very few as important as Donna, at least when it comes to characters not already announced for the show and/or appearing in movies or the Arrowverse.

Titans will launch with the DC Comics streaming service in 2018.
